- We have spent two wonderful and exciting days with our tour guide Raht. She took us through historic Ayutthaya and the highlights of Bangkok. Her knowledge about history were impressive, combined with the excellent organisation of the tour. Without her we would not been able to manage all the sights. The lunch places selected were awesome, we loved the food. Thanks for everything!!!read moreread lessHistorical Ayutthaya tourUK27 Mar 2024
- We considered various tour options before our trip to Bangkok and honestly felt like we won the lottery in having Air as our guide! It was a long hot day to visit so many city sites but Air kept us going. She's very knowledgeable as a guide and speaks terrific English (our biggest concern in choosing a guide) but what truly makes a guide is their ability to connect with their clients in an engaging way and for this reason, I give her an A+ rating. She is fun & funny and radiates the warmest positive energy. We will always have the best memories of Bangkok thanks to her!read moreread lessBangkok Highlights tour by local transportMary S.25 Mar 2024

- Whenever we visit a city for the first time we hire a guide and Nes was amongst the best we have had. She shared lots of interesting facts about the sites we visited but also about life in Bangkok. We were also impressed with her understanding and participation in dry English humour.
Nes met us our hotel on wireless road promptly and guide us on the sky train to the pier to pick up long tailed boat for a tour of the water ways it was interesting to understand the impact of climate change and the development to modern transport on the area around the river.
We visited Wat Pho (reclining Buddha temple) & Wat Arun (temple of dawn) where he improved our knowledge Buddhism and the importance it plays in Thia life.
We enjoyed lunch at a Thia restaurant we would not have selected ourselves which was great value and also experience a high speed tut-tuck ride ride through the hectic Bangkok traffic.
We finished the day explore the amazing Flower & Vegetable markets and despite telling us she does not cook she had a brilliant knowledge of all the produce. We did ended the day with an amazing soya source cream in China town before needing escorted back to our hotel using the metro and sky train.
We could have visited some of these sites on our own but having the Guide made the day stress free and much more enjoyable.read moreread lessPeter C.16 Mar 2024 - We had just the best day with Petch. - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Mae Klong Railway market, Damnoen Saduak market and Tha Kha Market. This was my husband's first time in Thailand and this tour was one of his main highlights, particularly Mae Klong and the tranquil boat ride at Damnoen Saduak. Our tour guide B was informative and friendly, walking us through all the various parts, providing delicious Thai delicacies from the market, what a treat. The Railway market was more crowded and tourist-focused than the last time I visited it which B explained was a result of the post-pandemic tourism boom. Damnoen was even better than I remembered and Tha Kha was a fun discovery though a lot more hectic. We were slightly disappointed not to visit the Coconut Farm as advertised in the package but overall still had a wonderful day.read moreread lessRailway market and Floating market tourUK T.13 Mar 2024
- We loved the public bus ride at the start of the day which gave us a glimpse of the streets and main sites of Bangkok. We also loved the canal boat tour which gave us an insight into how some Bangkok residents live and how the canals operate. We also caught a glimpse of the 62m Buddha which was fantastic. Wat Arun was stunning and it was interesting to hear about the first king and the creation of the current dynasty. We would have loved to have heard more about the architecture and symbolism used throughout. Wat Pho is of course spectacular and had it not been for the heat, we would have spent longer wandering through the grounds and observing the beautiful architecture and frescos. The walk through the Grand Palace was a little rushed due to the extreme heat but we'd love to come back perhaps much earlier in the morning to beat the crowds and midday heat. We'd love to learn more about its history and architecture.read moreread lessBangkok Highlights tour by local transportUK T.13 Mar 2024
