Explore Bangkok the fun way on a private tour with local transport such as skytrain, water taxi, and the famous tuk tuks.
We start the day at the wholesale flower market which opens around the clock. Fresh flowers are big business here since they are indispensable in Buddhist ceremonies. Thais use them for both worships and decorations. Apart from colorful sights and beautiful aromas, this is also a good opportunity to taste various kinds of fresh tropical fruits.
With a fun tuk tuk ride we go from the flower market to our next stop, where we visit Wat Pho that houses the country's most beautiful reclining Buddha with an impressive length of 46 meters. Besides being the temple with a stupa containing the ashes of Chakri Dynasty's first king, this temple was once a "medical school" for people who wanted to study Traditional Thai Medicine. Courses on Traditional Thai massage are still being offered.
Then, we cross the river to Bangkok landmark, Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn. The 67 meters high corn-shaped pagoda or (Pra Prang in Thai) represents Mount Meru, the center of the universe in Buddhist-Hindu cosmology. The Prang which is "supported" by demons, monkeys, and divinities is surrounded by the four continents. The structure's exterior is decorated with small pieces of Chinese porcelain, a unique feature introduced in the reign of King Rama III.
We take a break at a riverside restaurant where a delicious Thai lunch is freshly prepared for you.
Later on, we take you on a relaxing long-tailed boat tour to see the local life in the Venice of the East. Explore the canals and enjoy the view of wooden houses on stilts.
Optional attractions are also available. If you want to make the most of your time in Bangkok, you can personalize your tour on the booking form:
- Replace Wat Arun with a stroll down the streets of Chinatown for a more local experience in one of the oldest and most interesting districts of Bangkok, you will still be able to see Wat Arun from the long tailed boat.
- Add Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (emerald Buddha Temple), if you don’t mind the crowds then this is a spectacular place to visit, we will start around 8:00.
- Enjoy a 30-minute relaxing traditional Thai or foot massage at Wat Pho temple
This private tour in Bangkok is organised exclusively for you, no others will join. You will be in trusted hands with our professional English speaking licensed tour guide.
Note: This tour can be organised with luxury minivan if more comfort is required, a tuktuk ride can still be done. Minivan is also recommended for families with small children, and groups of 5 or more participants. You can book this version at: Bangkok Highlights tour by minivan.

I booked the tour for my elderly parents (50+). They have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ms. Raht. My dad admittedly can be insensitive sometimes, but Ms. Raht handled the tour with grace and pleasant energy all throughout. She made all possible considerations for my parents and they felt truly special. I will 100% recommend Ms. Raht, and thankful to BKK for having such a gracious tour guide.

All perfect, well done.

We had a lovely day with beautiful sitings at a nice pace. Also really liked the food and the small shopping possibility Air is very nice and funny and knows a lot and shares nicely. Thank you very much!

Great intro to Bangkok. Our guide Onn was super! She was personable, enthusiastic and tailored the tour to our preferences/pace. This was the first of two tours with her, and we looked forward to the next one.

Fantastic tours from Air! We really liked the local transport and the local immersion like having tea and coffee with the locals. Loved it! And your local restaurant selection was awesome too! Some of the best food of the trip! Highly recommend! Thank you! Thank you!

An excellent day of sight seeing with the perfect mix of information and fun. The day was organised fantastically to see all of the great sights without ever feeling rushed. Lunch and drink stops were a welcome break from the heat and timed by our guide perfectly. Air was very knowledgable and judged perfectly the level of information that would be interesting for our group. She was always happy to answer any questions we had and have fun with us too.

We had a great tour and a great time with Air, who was a kind, gentle and considerate guide, who looked after us so well. Also she knows everything about the places we visited and we received a good amount of information. We also laughed a lot together. We sure miss her and one can be lucky to stroll through Bangkok with her.

Raht led us on a fun and informative tour of Bangkok. We got to see the Vegetable and Flower Market, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, a nice Longtail Boat ride and lunch, and finally a massage. It was a great day for my husband and I and also for our kids, ages 13 and 14. The lunch was great, Raht ordered some dishes for us based on what we liked and didn’t like. She was so personable and fun. Had we not gone on this tour, we would have never seen so much in our one day in Bangkok.

Tina was a great guide. She was attentive, informative and friendly. The tour was the right balance between temples, markets and relaxing time. We all loved it.

We family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Air. She was a true pro. My parents are older and Air was very attentive to their endurance throughout the day since we chose to walk a lot as well as using the MRT. The pace was leisure but productive. The Thai lunch was fantastic! We let Air order with the only request that we get to try the most local Thai dishes possible. Amazing lunch! Towards the end of the tour we were getting quite tired, and without our request, Air ordered taxis for us to go back to hotel instead of the MRT per the tour agreement. It was a nice treat since Chinatown was a bit out of town and it would have been more tiring on my parents had we take the MRT, walking etc… We highly recommend this private tour to everyone, and we ourselves will definitely come back to BKK Tour for more trips with Air 🙂

Both the tours were amazing. The whole family had great experience. The design of the tour was perfect. Our guide, Raht made us fall in love with Thailand. From the very first minute of our meeting, we got connected. She was very responsive and my 6 year old was made so comfortable by her. Thanks Raht for a great experience.

All of Bangkoks “must see” places packed in one day full of fun, adventure and great food. We loved the tour, the places we visit and the food we ate that day. Awesome and fun time.

Absolutely perfect. Nadia is the best, so knowledgeable on Thai history and culture. Canal and river tour on the long tail boat was the highlight of our tour.
Carol –
I loved the tour! Air is so full of information. She also made it a lot of fun because she took photos as well and enjoyed herself as though it was her first time to see all the amazing buddhas and temples, though I’m sure she’s seen them well over 50 times already. I would definitely recommend BKK tours for anyone.

Mr Tee guided us through the streets and canals of Bangkok by foot, tuk tuk, taxi and boat and let us feel the city as a local does. He is vastly experienced and knowledgeable but presents himself with humility and kindness. He had the day well planned but was happy to change things around so we could buy some local craft work. He is fluent in English. Trying to navigate this city with out him would be difficult and the interesting details would never have been uncovered.

There is nothing mediocre about this tour, it was a great way to kick off our family holiday in Thailand. The tour was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Jam-packed with all the ‘must go and see sites’. We had first hand experience of the real Bangkok, while engaging with local Thai people while they work.
Our tour guide Petch (Natsuang) was amazing all together, she was friendly caring while engaging with the kids, she made a big effort and was really looking out for them throughout the day making sure they were all OK, as on the day in question the weather was very very hot. Petch was a really great guide explaining the all history and culture of Bangkok throughout the tour, she is really excellent at her job.
It is people like Petch and BKK Tours that make Thailand amazing country.
When the tour was finished, it was really sad to say goodbye to Petch, as she felt more of a good friend then a tour guide, if i could give BKK tours 10 stars i would, i recommend BKK to anyone visiting Bangkok(Thailand), and no doubt when we visit again BKK will be booked.
